I read an article in the paper about how dangerous the trails in the boundary waters are. People have been getting lost in the boundary waters because brush grows on the paths and then you cant tell where the path is. This is a big problem but the Ely District Ranger doesn't want to put up signs because they dont want any human-made objects in the boundary waters because he thinks it takes away from the nature and the experience and so far every solution people have come up with so far he has turned down. Many hickers are scared of hicking it but for others it doesnt stop them.

In New Moon I read about how Bella kinda likes Jacob now. Bella has recently started hanging out with Jacob now because of the motorcycles. She goes over To his house everyday now and she just keeps finding herself more and more happy when she's around him. She keeps the conversations going only because she is interested where as before she used to do it so that she didnt have to talk as much. She keeps waiting wondering when she's gonna start felling sick and all tingly but it never happens. She now is enjoying herself for the first time since Edward left Forks, Washington.

The chapter I read this morning was about Bella and Jacob. Bella and Jacob in this chapter get together and go over the parts that they need for the motercycles and then they go and get them. First they went to the dump and they looked for some parts and they had a little luck there. They found 4 of the parts at the dump but for the other parts they had to go to checker auto parts which was two hours away but there they found the rest of the parts they needed. When they got back to Jacobs house two of his friends showed up, Quil and Embry, Bella thought their names were kinda funny but she didn't say anything. Bella stayed and talked with Jacob and his friends for a little while before she went home and realized that that was the first time since Edward had left that she had been happy.

I am continuing to read New Moon and everyone keeps telling me this book is really boring and now im starting to get why. The book is slowly starting to become more and more boring. The chapter I read was about Jacob fixing up the two motorcycles Bella brought to him with money they are trying to come up with through work. Most of the chapter was about them trying to come up with money to fix up the motorcycles. I had a hard time staying focused on this chapter but i made it through it and i just have to keep reading the book so i can get to the 3rd book.
